تعدُّ "ثلاثية غرناطة" الرواية العربية الأشهر حول الأندلس، حيث تناولت فيها الكاتبة الراحلة رضوى عاشور سيرة الأندلسيين بحسّ ملحميّ وزعته في ثلاثة أجزاء، غرناطة ومريمة وخاتمتها الرحيل، يأتي هذا التسلسل في الفترة الزمنية منذ عام 1491 وحتى عام 1609، أي منذ لحظة تسليم آخر ممالكهم غرناطة وحتى قرار الملك فيليب الثالث والقاضي بطرد الأندلسيين المنصرين أو المورسكيين باعتبارهم جسما غريبا طارئا على تلك البلاد.
في "ثلاثية غرناطة" ستشمّ روائح الفطائر المقلية في زيت الزيتون، سترى الكسكسي المسكوب على أواني الخزف المزيّن بأشهى اللحوم ستسمع همسات النساء في البيوت وأحاديث الرجال في الحمامات بل وستضحك مع كركرة المياه المقبلة من قمم الجبال على الوديان المنحدرة، وفي بعض سطور الرواية -رغم كل الألم- ستخال شمس الضحى الذهبية منعكسة بغرور على نهر شنيل، ملقية ظلالها على هيبة قصر الحمراء الشامخ رغم الانكسار...
ومن خلال سرد قصة عائلة غرناطية يتكون أفرادها من الجد إلى الحفيد، استطاعت رضوى عاشور توصيف حال دقيق للظروف الاجتماعية والسياسية والدينية التي عاشها الأندلسيون عقب سقوط أوطانهم، كما أبدعت في صياغة الحالة النفسية للأندلسيين المرابطين في بلادهم إثر ما عانوه من ظلم وقهر وطمس للهوية وحرمان من ممارسة أبسط حقوقهم الإنسانية.
