Linda Collister is an experienced cook and baker, having trained at L'Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne in Paris and Le Cordon Bleu in London. She is the author of a number of baking books, including The Great British Book of Baking and The Great British Bake Off: How to Bake. Love Productions is a UK-based independent production company. They make award-winning programmes for all the main UK broadcasters.

On this side of the pond, The Great British Baking Show (called The Great British Bake Off in the UK), aired before episodes of the latest season of Downton Abbey. This tie-in cookbook contains fabulous special occasion desserts, including a quaint winter woodland cottage. Get a kitchen scale for the metric measurements.
