|“The Poetic Imagination of the Arabs” is a book on poetic imagination, written by Abu Al-Qasim Al-Shabi.
The first person used imagination as a guide for him to understand life and understand its purposes. For this reason, the author singled out a specific part for this matter, which involved understanding the emergence of imagination in the first human thought, and the divisions that compose it.
Nature is an inspiration that begs for imagination, and a source for it, so he logically linked its facts to it, and referred to nature and imagination in the opinion of Arab literature in general. As for the story and imagination in Arabic literature, he saw it as a basic substance that is almost devoid of the art of story in Arabs, and it also guarantees its continuity.
Al-Shabi considered that the Arabs were deprived of the heavenly beauty in which the heart finds the pleasure of sense and the happiness of feeling. Arabi.
