Reviews-
July 29, 2009 Greenberg (The ABCs of Loving Yourself with Diabetes) has lived with diabetes for 30-plus years and has substantially contributed to the patient literature. She is singularly well placed to help those with diabetes separate the wheat from the chaff in terms of the validity of the plethora of available information. Prevalent myths about diabetes (e.g., "People with diabetes can't eat sugar," "If anything were really wrong with my foot, it would hurt") are discrete chapters, allowing readers to browse topics of interest. Citations validate the information, and a glossary defines terms. Verdict Highly recommended. This is an extremely readable one-stop information spot for diabetes management, written by a patient-expert with the support of a huge team of contributing experts.-Elizabeth J. Eastwood, Los Alamos Cty. Lib. Syst., NM
